Home Remodeling in Hendersonville, TN
Whole-room updates and the repairs in between, handled by one family-run crew from first walkthrough to final cleanup.
One crew for the whole project
Remodeling is rarely a single trade. Even a simple bathroom update involves demolition, wall repairs, tile, fixtures, trim and paint, and every hand-off between trades is a chance for delays and finger-pointing. J Morua Remodeling is built around the opposite idea: a small family crew that carries a project from the first walkthrough to the final cleanup.
Our core is bathrooms, the work Juan Morúa has focused on for about five years, and everything else on this site grows out of that. A bathroom touches walls, floors, doors, windows and paint, so those services are here because remodels need them, and you can hire us for the room or for one piece of it.
Hendersonville homes give the work its character. Many were built in the decades after Old Hickory Dam created the lake in 1954, and they often still have original bathrooms, hollow interior doors and older windows that are ready for an update. Start with the bathroom, then keep the same crew for the rest.

We begin with what is behind the surface. Old bathrooms hide soft floors and failed waterproofing, and we would rather find that in the first walkthrough than halfway through the job. You hear what we see before any decision gets made.
We also say what we do and what we do not. If your project needs a specialty trade or a type of work outside the services on this site, we tell you up front so you can plan, rather than finding out in the middle of the job.
Home Remodeling questions
What is the first step in planning a remodel?
Decide what is bothering you most: layout, condition or looks. Then call or send photos. We walk through the options and a free quote before you commit to anything.
Can you handle the entire project or only parts of it?
We handle the trades listed on this site: bathroom work, tile, flooring, drywall, painting, doors and windows. If your project needs something beyond that, we will tell you so.
Do you do kitchen remodels?
Bathrooms are our main focus. For kitchens or whole-house projects, call and describe what you want, and we will tell you honestly whether it is a fit.
Can I stay in my home during a remodel?
Usually, yes. You will lose use of the room being worked on and deal with some dust, so planning matters most when it is your only bathroom.
Can I start small and add more projects later?
Yes. Many people start with the bathroom and add flooring, paint or doors afterward. Having the same crew means they already know your house.
